Stamp design - Drăgan-George Basarabă

This stamp design is inspired by the Neogothic aesthetic, drawing influence from the architectural details of Hunyadi Castle in Hunedoara, Romania. It features the crowned helmet and crest from the owner’s coat of arms, stylized with intricate linework and a textured background that evoke the craftsmanship of medieval heraldic engravings. The intricate lattice pattern and bold linework echo the elaborate tracery and stone textures found in Gothic architecture, while the crowned crest remains the focal point, emphasizing its noble character.

The design was initially hand-drawn, then digitally refined and vectorized to ensure clarity and high contrast, making it highly effective for stamping applications.
