Cojocariu family
The coat of arms of the Cojocariu family was a remarkable project, designed entirely from scratch. The principal elements of the shield—the green field, the poppy flower, and the fox with feathers in the crest—were conceived by the armiger himself, each carrying personal significance.
The golden cup, a tribute to the Knights de Cuparencu, a noble Bukovinian lineage from whom the armiger descends on his maternal side, was designed to serve as a support for the poppy. In the crest, the black feather represents the Austrian double-headed eagle, while the golden feather symbolises the Romanian eagle, reflecting the armiger’s origins in Bukovina—a former territory of the Austrian Empire—while affirming his Romanian heritage and present-day life in Romania.
