Bellaveglia family
The coat of arms for the Bellaveglia family was painted for a client in Italy using gouache and acrylics, combining both matte and metallic colours for added depth, while respecting heraldic tradition and norms.
The shield features a golden field with a red fortified tower at its centre, accompanied by a fully armoured knight holding a spear and shield. Given the simplicity of the design, the gold background allowed for the addition of a subtle yet elegant diapering, enhancing the overall elegance. Above the shield, the helm is adorned with elaborate mantling in red and gold, reflecting the main colours of the arms. The crest is decorated with plumes, a symbol often associated with knightly status.
