Wedding invitation
This hand-painted wedding invitation brings together personal history, tradition, and heraldic art. At its heart lies the combined coat of arms of the couple, a testament to their union and shared heritage. A central archway frames a traditional Banat house, representing the wedding location and the cultural roots that bring them together.
The invitation is adorned with carefully selected floral elements, each rich in symbolism. The Tulipa hungarica beautifully represents the Hungarian heritage of the bride, while the groom's Romanian heritage from Banat is reflected in the Syringa vulgaris, a flower widely regarded as the most significant in the region. The design harmoniously blends heraldic accuracy with artistic creativity and composition.
Originally hand-drawn and painted, the artwork was digitally refined and printed on textured, toned paper to preserve its depth and character. Later on, golden elements (wedding bands and frame) were manually applied to each invitation, ensuring that every piece is a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
This invitation is not merely a formal announcement—it is a work of art that celebrates love, heritage, and craftsmanship.
